Importing Favorites

JobTabs allows you to pool all of your existing Internet Explorer favorites into JobTabs. See,

Favorites » Import IE Favorites...

The import facility provides a brief set of instructions on importing your favorites from Internet Explorer.

Click the Retrieve IE Favorites as instructed by the opening screen. JobTabs will read all of your IE favorites for you to review in the treeview display as shown below. It will only import the favorites you select via the check box. We suggest you only import those favorites that will help you maintain focus on your job search. Select favorites to import by clicking the box next to the favorite,

Select favorites related to your job search by clicking the check box.

As described in the Import Favorites welcome screen, JobTabs will import entire directories if you direct it to do so. Otherwise, it will import each favorite individually. Keep in mind that the tree structure will also be imported. For example if you import a favorite located in the

Job Search » Job Sites

directory in your IE favorites, that favorite will show up as Job Search | Job Sites menu in JobTabs. If it does not exist it will be created for you.
